probably from the age of 11

I preferred to hang out with adults. They were just so much more adult than my peers.

Now that I am much, much older, I have to wonder "where the heck did all the adults go, because it sure seems like I am stuck in junior high".

I've met a set of Liberals that say things like, "As long as their are children starving, I will not laugh."

Which sounds great, and is sort of admirable...

But has no useful purpose in advancing our cause.

If you get so serious that you cannot find a giggle now and then...

You lose your humanity... you lose your bearings... you lose the reason you are a Liberal...

And people stop listening to you and your arguments...

And... in the end... you lose.
