Bill O'Reilly thinks the show is coming for your children -- and once again misunderstands inequality
Here we go again, says the blond lady from Fox. Gretchen Carlson, I assure you I feel exactly the same way.
On Thursdays OReilly Factor, Bill OReilly grappled with the terrible, terrible paradox that while Glee may have some merits, it also sends the message that alternative lifestyles for children may be positive. And then, oh no, he showed a clip of the character Unique performing a KC and the Sunshine Band song in a dress and heels. OReilly, who is terribly concerned that Americas youth might go out and experiment with this stuff, next welcomed Carlson, along with Judge Jeanine Pirro, for an old-fashioned round of pearl-clutching. Here we go again, said Carlson, pandering to .3 percent of the American population that consider themselves transgender. Now I get to explain this to my 8-year-old, if I just wanted to watch a nice family show with some nice music?

(27,461 posts)Carlson is good for a laugh as usual, and O'Reilly comically suggests that it might cause people to want to become trangender the way James Dean made him want to smoke.
But Pirro talks sense and makes the other two look foolish.

(3,894 posts)That makes me wonder as I often have, how Fox Channel which is pretty out there with Glee and House and all manner of pretty racy and on the social edge programs. Aren't they the original Southpark Channel or was that always on CC? Anyway, I don't watch a lot of Fox Channel, but it does seem like it's very provocative and a bizarre catalyst for their FNC team discussions.
