I Love This: WH immigration announcement will be the lead-in to the Latin Grammy Awards on Univision

LOL:

White House's immigration announcement will be the lead-in to the Latin Grammy Awards on Univision, "with a 2014 viewership of nearly 10 million." "The chances are high that the leading lights of Latin pop music will follow up his words tonight with on-stage celebrations of the President’s actions."

Screw CBS, Fox, NBC & ABC for Not Airing

“If the president’s executive action comports with press reports that some 5 million immigrants will be able to come forward and live in freedom and with dignity, it will be the biggest win for immigrants and their allies in 25 years. And if we are successful in fighting off Republican attempts to kill it in the crib, it will be a turning point for our movement.”

My guess is the WH figured that by waiting till after the election would minimize blow-back, and by using an E.O. now while the GOP is charged up will insure their post election circular firing squad is bigger and bloodier then our own.
