A prominent human rights activist has been arrested by Saudi Arabia on charges of insulting Islam. Suad Hamour al-Shamari, an advocate for womens rights and the co-founder of the Saudi Liberal Network along with Raif Badawi, is being held in a Jeddah prison, according to a tweet sent out by Badawis wife.
Two other human rights activists, who requested anonymity, confirmed the arrest and accused Saudi authorities of engaging in a campaign to silence all dissent.
"This is the accusation they make against anybody defending human rights," said one of the activists.
Saudi Arabia has a history of detaining and convicting liberal activists ranging from human rights lawyers to demonstrators.
Amnesty International, a London-based human rights watchdog group, said that Saudi authorities "have sought to stamp out all critical voices demanding peaceful reform."

What does Islam have to say about these assholes meting out their own personal and sick form of justice?
