3-year-old Pennsylvania boy tortured, hung by feet, killed by mom and her boyfriend

A Pennsylvania toddler died after being tortured for three days by his mother and her boyfriend, Chester County authorities said. The couple has been charged with murder in an "American horror story" that featured the child being hung upside down and beaten with an aluminum strip, according to the prosecutor.

Three-year-old Scott McMillan was found dead Tuesday in a West Caln Township trailer shared by his mother, Jillian Tait, her boyfriend Gary Fellenbaum, and his wife Amber Fellenbaum. Scott was found dead by Amber, who phoned 911.

The little boy's battered body was covered in bruises, puncture wounds and cuts. His brain had bled. "Our ER nurses see a lot of terrible things, but when they saw his body, they wept," said Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan on Thursday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Hogan said he would seek the death penalty against the mother and her lover.

I know it's wrong, but I can't help but wish for the worst things to happen to these pigs.

These two must have gotten a thrill out of killing this baby to have left him hanging after the horrific beating.

Is there an adequate punishment for sociopaths? Death might be too damn easy for these two!

I wonder if social services was ever involved?

If they somehow escape it, I hope they get the same treatment by their cellmates in whatever hell hole they're put in.

last night, I had tears in my eyes. This was an ongoing torture for that little boy. He suffered unnecessarily, and that nobody stepped in to protect him is horrible. He's a beautiful little boy who lived through extreme ugliness. And when I read the prosecutor was going for the death penalty, I can't say that I had a negative reaction to that.

This man is a monster and needs to be removed from society. I honestly don't think there's rehabilitation for what he did to that child.

of how you view it, they have a murderous, psychotic purpose.

This had none. I can't imagine mom or bf getting any satisfaction for their ego, for sex...just unbridled hate and an unthinkable way to die.

We ran a call years ago where a kid was killed, horror scene, but this one takes it to a new level, to take 3 days. Amazing how tough the body is.

Rest in peace, child.

Considering they all live together while this poor child was being tortured to death I'm blaming all of them and don't care how they're personally connected... they all either participated or condoned it.

poverty kills. Those people may be monsters, but it's almost certain they are victims of abuse themselves.

That being said, this is unimaginable evil.

The couple met working at Wal-Mart and last month moved in together, along with Fellenbaum's estranged wife. They lived with three children — Tait's 6- and 3-year-old sons and the Fellenbaums' 11-month-old daughter — in a mobile home park near Coatesville, about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
