Whitehouse.gov Petition to Find/Prosecute Serial Vandal who Defaced 10 National Parks, Please sign

Hi DU!

As a NPS employee, I see a lot of great people and occasionally a vandal, but this is crazy, selfish and outright disrespectful to all we citizens and to the indigenous cultures whose artifacts have been defiled by this individual.


Casey Nocket describes herself as an "artist" and used paint to create her alleged "art" in publicly held National Parks, and then went on to photograph it and post on Instagram, apparently in an attempt to draw attention to herself.

Casey Nocket has traveled around the western US vandalizing National Parks and National Monuments with her alleged "art." She has acknowledged that she is not in the right only in regards to her use of acrylic paints, she responded to a question about her paint materials on Instagram with the comment "I know, I'm a bad person."

Honestly, narcissist is the word for it. Crappy imagery and stupid placement.

She can't be all that smart.

I don't want to start a name calling thread... I have numerous suggestions but most would be inappropriate and offensive so I decline that urge.

and encourages copycat vandals aside from defacing public property which belongs to all US citizens. As a part owner I am highly offended by this criminal act and the clean up will be difficult to do in environmentally sensitive places. It will be removed but not easily, I sure she didn't have the intellectual capacity to consider the environmental impacts of her actions.

I really hope Law Enforcement finds and arrests her and at the end of her court trial i hope the judge throws her *** into a Federal Penitentiary for a long time.
