Bwwwaaahahahaha! "Fox News boss: No Newt, no time, no way"
Fox News has fired back, in unusually personal terms, at ex-House Speaker (and ex-Fox pundit) Newt Gingrich’s charge that the conservative cable channel engages in “distortion” and is a mouthpiece for Mitt Romney’s campaign.
Gingrich is “trying to get a job at CNN because he knows he isn’t going to get to come back to Fox News,” Roger Ailes, Fox News boss, and former Republican campaign adviser, told an audience at the University of North Carolina.
The network was even nastier in an official statement, saying:
“This is nothing other than Newt auditioning for a windfall of a gig at CNN. That’s the kind of man he is. Not to mention that he’s still bitter about the fact that we terminated his contributor role.”
