this was without a doubt the biggest failure by any administration ever.
This is one thing that should be brought up and discussed every year.
While we mourn the loss of life on this day, we should never forget the errors and omissions, commissions and failures that led to the attacks.
Looking at the lead up to the attacks and learning the true lessons of what led to the attacks should be one of the focuses of the day. Without learning from it we will once more miss the signs.
Been wanting to get that off my chest all day. Blast me if you wish.

and of course, there would have been an outcry for impeachment

(18,641 posts)Of course he followed it up by the failure of attacking Iraq which created an open, fertile field for more religious extremists to grow.
Not satisfied with those accomplishments he created the economic collapse also.
When you think of it, it's kind of mind boggling how much damage he did to this country and still he and his philosophy is admired by millions.
