(1,009 posts)then they are not the police. They're impersonating a police officer. You see, even I can wear a police uniform, but that doesn't make me a police officer. If they don't show who they are, then they aren't police officers and no one is obliged to heed their orders. And if anyone gets shot, then there is no recourse of that murderer.

Is that even a name tag, or is it some sort of award ribbon for best fucking Mohawk?
If it's the former, one would have to be pretty damn anal to cut, trim and place
the tape on so perfectly even and aligned.
Ohhh... did I forget to mention his fucking Mohawk?
Oh and have you noticed his fucking Mohawk?

(192 posts)We cannot exist with two sets of laws and three classes of citizens--the oligarchs exempt from laws, their mercenaries who are also exempt, and the rest of us who can be shot on site. The United States has become a lawless nation and the laughingstock of the world.

(15,237 posts)Uniforms can be faked. What does the Standard Operating Procedures say about Police identifying themselves in uniform? So the public must submit to anyone in a uniform which could be copied or simply made up. There are so many departments in St. Louis how do you know one from the other they do not have a standard uniform? Is this a wannabe cop impersonator? Anyone ever hear of the St. Valentines Day Massacre?
Other than in filing bogus reports there are no statutes in MO requiring Officer identification.

(509 posts)then you have reasonable suspicion that he is not a real cop. Especially with a taped over name badge. Any ticket this goon writes will be thrown out in court.
However, if you try to take his picture he will shoot you 12 times, maybe 13.
