Despite foreign policy criticism, Clinton to meet with Obama at Martha’s Vineyard party

By Agence France-Presse
Tuesday, August 12, 2014 12:16 EDT

Hillary Clinton may have distanced herself from Barack Obama’s foreign policy, but he doesn’t seem to have taken it personally: the two will meet at a party later this week.

Obama and the presumptive frontrunner for his Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nomination are due to attend the same soiree on Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.

And the White House told AFP both the US leader and his wife Michelle were “very much looking forward to the occasion and seeing Former Secretary Clinton.”

The First Family is spending their summer vacation on the swanky Massachusetts resort island. Clinton, meanwhile, will be there for a signing of her memoir “Hard Choices.”

The social gathering will be held at the home of Vernon Jordan, a former adviser to ex-president Bill Clinton, the White House said.

And, they probably get along pretty well...although he's not as much of a hawk as she is.

It's politics.... And Vernon Jordan is one of the powerful King Makers for Dem Party.

Nothing to see there.....move along.

And current President. In fact, Laura and Michelle just met yesterday. Media is always trying to make something more than it is.

The Clintons have and still do say some very offensive things regarding the President. Sour grapes has a new picture in the dictionary.

I can see the think bubble over Michelle's head when she/they said they were looking forward to seeing Clinton. Don't think it would be fit for print.

. . . the president? Maybe not.

Her remarks loom large for voters looking for a truly progressive vision and stance and have tired of politicians hawking excuses to war.

This doesn't affect Obama at all and will not move the numbers in her support at all either.

"don't do stupid stuff'. Cuz, you know, they talked at a party.

Hillary's crack media team at it again, covering for her gaffes.
