I'm outraged that Zimmerman's legal representation has hinted that he reacted to a fear of Shaken Baby Syndrome. You can read about that here: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-rt-us-usa-florida-shootingbre8350d5-20120406,0,5763677.story I happen to think that if you fear such things then you shouldn't appoint yourself armed judge/jury/executioner and stalk a poor kid down and murder him. I'm funny that way. I actually wish for people like that to cease to be. In a word, I wish them dead and gone. I don't see that as a bad thing, I think the human race would benefit from their passing sooner rather than later. Of course I could be wrong; George Zimmerman might be innocent. We should have a trial, yeah, I think we should have an investigation and then a trial. --- In the world of commercial art, artistic endeavors, and unbelievable scams and their victims, a certain "Thomas Kinkade" passed away yesterday. If you know anything about this man, you'll know that he took advantage of hundreds of thousands of people who bought his prints thinking they were paintings. Kinkade's factories produced high quality prints with special texturing techniques, and then had workers stipple "points of light" of actual paint, thus making each one "technically" and original work of art, and then fetching hundreds and thousands of dollars a piece. Kinkade might have had a family. Most of us do. His family might be sad. On the other hand, they might secretly be relieved that he's gone. Sometimes that happens, sometimes a person is a substance abusing scammer who brings disgrace upon his family. Happy Easter.

Few, I think, are the people among us who glorify in having the likes of the Koch brothers and Dick Cheney walking the Earth.

Most of us, I think, wouldn't shed a tear and might actually like if such people ceased to be.

YMMV.
