Q-Poll FL: Crist-Scott is 39-37% race with Libertarian Wyllie at 9%

http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/the-buzz-florida-politics/q-poll-fl-crist-scott-is-39-37-race-with-libertarian-wyllie-at-9/2189627

Ok, normally the idea of the GOP being behind is good news, so why am I pissed?

a) there is no way this race should be close. Rick Scott has been one of the worst Governors we have had, yes, he makes Crist look good by comparison, and I hated Crist.

b) the fact that a Libertarian is in can help split the gop, or it can be a spoiler.

c) This is not local news. We are the 4th largest state, soon to be the 3rd. Do you want Rick being Governor of Florida in 2016, especially as in 2012, he botched the vote count AGAIN.

Still Scott cannot get his numbers up.

Charlie should pull ahead once he starts getting on the air.

Last polls I saw had Crist up by 5 points without a libertarian candidate in the race. With the Libertarian it's a draw between Crist-Scott so it appears the Libertarian is helping Scott at the moment.

We also have to factor in that Democratic turnout is usually less in midterms so that should be a pint or two advantage to Scott as well that the polls don't reflect.

I know I see anti-Crist, pro-Scott ads all day on TV and I can't recall seeing an ad yet against Scott or for Crist, are they holding back money or that outmatched in the funding department?

as there are both plenty of Neo confederate right wing Paul types, and, the sadly mistaken "left" types who think that Libertarians will stop the war machine and let them grow dope (never mind the fact that the Corporations that are responsible for both problems will be unleashed.)

here in Volusia, I see some occasional campaign commercials - probably equally balanced. But once the assault begins, with his millions, it will be a blitz.

He is now rewriting history with regard to job creation, education funding, and Charlie's record.

I don't think Charlie will pull ahead with any significance. Hopefully he will win, but it will be a tough fight and based on how many vote.

In fact, one of his biggest backers, attorney John Morgan, pretty much bankrolled the medical marijuana initiative. Some people say it was precisely to bring more liberal voters out who would also vote Christ.
