I've been to about 50 threads tonight. Then I looked at Google News and, well, there it was. What's ridiculous?

deputy national security adviser to the president have repeated the position that the US military may engage in Iraq, if US interests are threatened.

I think that is much more important that Hillary's speaking fees. This also goes to why her candidacy (which is long underway) make me cringe, everything will always be about her until election day 2016. From all sides. She sucks up way too much media oxygen and I wish she would not run for that reason alone.

Hillary is far too controversial and has far too much baggage. She should not run. The Republicans will criticize and spin ridiculous stories about any Democratic candidate, but we will hear nothing but the Republicans' vicious spin if Hillary runs.

Hillary is old hat. Voters will be looking for new stories about her, and most of those new stories will be about her past. She is a distraction from the issues that really matter.

Although I can't help but wonder when the popular media will train its laser-like focus on Mitt Romney's income sources, speaking fees, and tax returns. You know, just to be fair and balanced.

Democrats should just forego the income altogether, and volunteer to help set up the chairs before the speech and sweep up after.

That'll show'em.

Also, Hillary should get with a little focus group and practice fending off these stupid questions.

<snip>

With criticism mounting over her use of well-paid speaking engagements to build her personal wealth, Hillary Clinton told ABC News on Friday that she has donated all the money she was paid for appearances on college campuses during the last year and a half to her family's foundation.

She 'earns' a quarter of a million dollars for a half-hour. But she's dirt poor.
HRC's problem seems to be that she can't get her foot out of her mouth.

Maybe she needs new handlers...
