I immediately identified with the character portrayed by Gene Kelly.
But in this wonderful story, it was shown to me that there needs
to be healthy limits to skepticism and sarcasm.
A person can becomes so quick to scorn and criticize others that they
lose their sense of humanity and understanding of other people's
beliefs.
Thinking that one is better than most other people will make
you lonely and bitter.
