In reality no matter what the question is as it pertains to 'How long we have left' the best answer will always be:

'Prepare for any and all eventualities or become a victim.'

Sorry if that is too direct and cold hearted for some but it is reality today.

Perhaps DU needs a Group where people can openly discuss various 'what-if' situation's and what one can do to either prepare or prevent being a victim. No not a nut job prepper group either. The BSA "Be Prepared" motto is sage advice.
