Where do you order your checks? I don't use near as many these days, since I use my debit card

for gas and groceries.

But I tried to order some from a newspaper ad, and checked into re-ordering the ones I had, and
geemanetti (sp?) but they've gotten so expensive.....

Do counter checks still exist? Or have they gone the way of the eight-track tape?

They make me chuckle. I bought 1 box 4 years ago...I think it's a lifetime supply. I've used maybe 15 of them.

I have ordered from other sites mentioned here since the bank charges about three times as much. I have never had problems but only write a check once a month. I think I'll have enough from my last order to last a lifetime.

My credit union will give me two free checks a day, but I rarely stop by their branch anymore due to direct deposit, e-bill paying, and since the cute Hawaiian teller left.

This company sends a portions of its profits to the organization of your choice. The designs on the check also reflect that organization. They have tons of environmental, animal, and social groups, such as Alley Cat Allies, Audubon, PFLAG, the Human Rights Campaign and NOW.

I have been using them for many years. I use the checks that support Audubon, and use the ones that have some of John J. Audubon's paintings in the background. They're quite lovely.
