Should I hide it in the basement or in the attic?

Is that the "new" NSA policy?? Should they keep the information or give it to the big communications companies to keep?

Perhaps we should ask, why should they keep it at all?

My thoughts exactly.

No mention of stopping and destroying the already collected data.

Only questions of what to do with collected data and data that will be collected in the future.

what legitimate purpose in the public interest could it possibly serve?

But when even Snowden himself says the NSA is just fine after some minor reform surgery gets performed, the discussion gets murkier....
