Republicans ban dissenting opinions, while supporting Duck Dynasty’s ‘Free Speech’

Rep. James Lankford (R-Oklahoma City) came out in support of Phil Robertson, the Duck Dynasty reality show star. That in itself is not unusual, since so many Conservatives have stepped forward to voice their opinions.

He wrote on Facebook, “Phil, from Duck Dynasty, has been kicked off his own show because he said he believes what the Bible teaches about sin, including homosexuality.In America everyone should be able to speak their opinion and disagree.A senior adult man in America should beable to speak his views without fear of being silenced.” (my bold)

A few of his constituents have been banned fromcommenting on the issue, underneath his “everyone should be able to speak their opinion and disagree” post.
