I just got a "Hillary Clinton for President in 2012" recorded phone message

As many problems as I have with Obama, I think that primarying him would be insanity.

I have no idea what group is paying for this telephone blitz, but I find it hard to believe that Hillary would have anything to do with it.

There was no request for donations, signatures, or any other action. It therefore occurred to me that the Republicans could be behind this and are just trying to stir up trouble, but who knows?

Has anyone else received this recorded phone call yet?

No, they haven't called me. She's not running and she won't, so why are they wasting their time?

had to say who sponsored/paid for it (recordings, ads, mailers, etc).

Guess I was wrong.

yeah, right I'm going to vote for another DLCer barry girl. If it was bernie calling yeah; but why would I want to replace the one we got with another one? Might as well as vote for the one who's already there.

Sad state of affairs when a request for your vote that isn't followed by a request for money is suspect.

She's not gonna primary anybody. For one thing, she's the wrong person to do it (if it were to be done at all--a move I don't advocate). Second, even if she were to do it, this is not how it would be done. A goofy stealth campaign would be dead coming out of the box. And, as you suggest, there was no call for any action. That is a telltale sign--they are likely trying to obscure their backtrail.

Classic Wingnut dirty trick bullshit, if you ask me. It's not even smart. They think everyone to the left of Genghis Khan is a Nazi socialist anarchist, and think that disenchanted progressives are likely to rally behind a "far-left Marxist" like Hillary.
