are always open, at least for a few hours, on Christmas day, and have been for years. I have no problem with them being open on holidays, as people do need access to food.

providing a necessary service to their community. You never know what emergency may come up and you just have to take a trip to the grocery store. I had to go to a Rite Aid on Thanksgiving to pick up a very important medication for my husband.
