It is my understanding that we continue to hold prisoners taken during the war in Iraq. I believe it was Bush who was given the authority to hold prisoners until the war was over. Well, the war is over, you can read it in newspapers everywhere. Will we open up the prison gates now? If not, why not?

I can note that Axis POWs were kept in camps, and used as forced labor, up to three years after WWII was over.
