Once he gets the nomination, Mitt Romney will do the usual kiss-ass visit to Limbaugh's show

where he tells Rush how honored he is to be there, what a great conservative voice he is, etc.
The Bushes did it, as did Cheney. McCain did. Mitt will, too.

When Willard goes this route, the Democrats should bring up every bit of Rush's vile rhetoric and ask whether or not he denounces it.

Rush gets away with too much to enjoy such a cozy relationship with party nominees.

If anyone on the left says something incendiary, every Democrat is hounded with questions of "Do you stand by his words - yes or no? Will you denounce them?"

Romney and the GOP should get the same treatment. They want to cozy up to Rush, but never address whether or not they feel the things he says, such as the 'slut talk' or laughing at Japanese tsunami deaths, are appropriate for public discourse.

The heat should be put on Romney and he should have to choose whether he wants to take issue with Rush's hate speech or not.

He shouldn't get a pass for this, as he did when he planted a big slobbering kiss on Trump and his racist birther talk last month.
