We have people dying...

For lack of healthcare, we have people starving for lack of food, we have people living on the streets for lack of a house...

Yet we are preparing to spend billions on attacking Syria for humanitarian reasons?

We want to bomb Syria because they killed children, but here we won't even keep WIC's budget in tact to give food assistance to women, infants, and children.

Don't fall for the "it's for the kids" bullshit rhetoric. It's only being used to pull otherwise sensible people into endorsing another war where more kids will die.

It's about Empire. One of the primary reasons for the Fall of the Roman Empire was this situation. Power and control (money, gold, oil, drugs, pipelines, continents...whatever), like a food or an alcoholic or drug addict...without a changing of courses ... consumes itself ultimately.

Right off though, all money that goes to support or improve other nations military's should be cut.

The fact of the matter is that feeding and housing the poor and providing health care for those in need does not fill the coffers of the MIC. That is the heart of the problem and will not change any time soon. Apparently being a "Christian Nation" does not mean following in the footsteps of Jesus.

When you are over a barrel then you will pay anything for another chance for a shoddy 1000% profit procedure.
When the Xs finally appear over the eyes, its off to the mortuary in a $15,000 dollar coffin which is sold to the next victim after the corpse is dumped into a common anonymous grave in a wooded area.

These are not nice people.

I actually think that conservatives hate their fellow Americans if they aren't in the same elite class as themselves. But they believe fervently in American exceptionalism Unfortunately I think the only thing exceptional about America is we are stupid. God did not choose us just as God did not choose Israel. We are not special and our empire will die as the 21st century plays out. Chine and India will replace us just as we replaced France and Britain.
