Mint Press News and The "bad company" fallacy

Mint Press News is a bad source because one of its stories was carried by and agreed with by the right-wing newspaper Washington Examiner. This is an example of the "bad company" fallacy.

Since Fair.org, a renowned liberal website, is praising Mint Press News, I guess that Mint Press News' energy level went from 0% to 50%, or something, because bad + good divided by 2 is 50%...

Or is it 100% because the good Fair.org overrides the Examiner?

Sophists explain, for I am confused.
