From the French Quarter to Napoleon Avenue, New Orleans celebrated a joyous Mardi Gras

http://www.nola.com/mardigras/index.ssf/2012/02/from_the_french_quarter_to_nap.html

I realize that New Orleans is still in need of help, Hell , it needed help long before Katrina came. But it is good to see that the spirit has not gone, especially with teh Mardi Gras Indians, a true native, Non-Disney tradit no were else can imitiate.

Mardi gras is about a lot more than tourists getting drunk, it is one of the things that wll keep Louisiana unique in the United States.
