You should have mentioned you use it to carry your conceal weapon; then it would probably have been A-OK.

Trying to explain to her how absurd it was to ban a piece of safety equipment that I need to keep my brain intact from the court house. I gave up after I realized I was going nowhere and was probably going to get kicked out.

So, I guess the only option I have now is to file a complaint with the city.

Which means that you could reasonably go crazy with fear and do who knows what. Brave new world.

They said the court was being reasonable because I could use the helmet as a weapon.

incident involving someone using a motorcycle helmet to commit a criminal act in a municipal court.

It is for safety, but (at least in my city) they have guns, tazers, pepper spray, attack dogs, 10 or more armed court officers, and night sticks.

They didn't even check the badge or his ID. They just assumed he was a cop. While I was standing there with what is apparently more dangerous than a firearm.

Next time, as someone else suggested, put some papers and a couple of pens in your helment, then lay a gun on top to keep them in place. You could walk right in.

The are so afraid of everything except loaded guns? Doesn't that make them psychotic?

I'll bet if you left it on your motorcycle and it was stolen they wouldn't understand the irony of the situation.
