is getting old, hard of hearing, can't see too well anymore. I'm sure gonna' miss her irregardless of who goes first. Her or me.

We got two bichon brothers as puppies thirteen years ago. One passed away in December, and it nearly killed us. His remaining brother just had his thirteenth birthday and is getting a bit lame and is developing cataracts. This little guy's grief over the loss of his brother was almost more than I could bear. For months he cried, howled, and looked everywhere in the house and the yard for his brother. He still does, but not everyday. "Henry" is my constant companion; he's right here beside me as I type this. His love and loyalty are without equal. I wish I knew more people as good and noble as my Henry.

There is no moisture in my eyes. None!

Anything with dogs just gets me. Westies are so cute.

I love how even old dogs still think they are puppies or try to act like them even if they are just not physically there any more. It just makes your throat catch seeing them try so hard.
