GOP CLOWN CAR UPDATE: CNN cancels debate with only Gingrich attending

CNN cancels debate with only Gingrich attending

Apparently the prospects of Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich berating debate moderator John King for two hours didn’t appeal to CNN.

The network has canceled a debate in Georgia scheduled for March 1 after the three other GOP candidates decided not to attend.

CNN reported that both Texas Congressman Ron Paul and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney told the Georgia Republican Party that they had better things to do.

Rick Santorum’s spokesman, Hogan Gidley, also told National Journal that the former Pennsylvania senator “has no plans of doing it right now.”

It is a slap in the face of the Georgians that these Repugs saying they have better things to do instead of letting the people of Georgia decide for themselves which of the 4 candidates they want to vote for. Now they won't have that chance. If I were a Georgian - I would say I have better people to vote for and it's going to be Obama. That'll teach them to snub the people of Georgia.
