as long as no laws were broken I believe he should be allowed in. The public reaction to such will deter other wannabes and idiots from participating..sometimes stupid is easier to see in others and once seen, allows other would be idiots to see how dumb they look..I think Westside Baptist has done much to improve tolerance and perception of GLBT..

He told them it would say "Watermelons for Sale", and since he's a farmer, it seemed plausible. Then he showed up with the cracker-ific signs, and was told to remove them. The people running the parade then ran off to attend to other details, trusting that he would comply: he didn't.

So, he's a lying bigot who took advantage of the trusting nature of his neighbors. Hopefully, Karma will be opening a can of whoop-ass on him.

5. Teabagger modus operandi
Mon Jul 8, 2013, 11:41 AM

this is a good example of the way Teabaggers introduce legislation in the states they have infected; they lie about their intentions and diguise their racism until they unveil it with the destruction they have caused all over America. When Teabaggers are allowed to spread their hate and racism without a word of protest they become enboldened in their messages of hatred for America and common human decency. Teabaggers left unchallenged will destroy America and every decent liberty we have won since the civil war. Do not underestimate the destructive power of directed hate and racism. The extremists on the right WANT to destroy America and our liberties- when they are allowed to go unchallenged and uncorrected they do the most damage. Teabaggers don't respect America or it's laws; why would anyone trust them to do what is right when they are what is wrong?

In this case, the locals assumed honesty and community spirit, and then were unprepared when this f***tard did the Teabagger Tango.

I, myself, assume this type to be lying sociopaths, and administer bitch slaps early and often.

They interpret anything other than visible, loud, active opposition to be support. Thus, we must be loud and in their faces at every opportunity.

they should have taken him out of the parade altogether. Instead, they merely asked him to remove the signs and let him ride anyhow. That was their first mistake. They could have avoided all of this controversy if they had handled it right.

I smell something fishy in the way they handled it in the first place.

The guy lied on his application about what he was going to have on his "float" in the parade. He should be charged, at least, with lying to government officials. That is against the law. They should have fined him and taken him out of the parade for that shit right off the bat. There are always oodles of cops around during parades in this area. It is not like there would have been much of a problem to take him out of the parade. Instead they just asked him to remove the signs and let him ride anyhow? There is something screwy there.

It sounds like their mistake was trusting this guy. That cost them big-time, and you can bet they'll be amping up their attitudes in the future.

Take all the white people in this country and beat the living shit out of them, then kill about a third of them. Those who survive should be forced to work from sun up until sun down doing menial labor under brutal working conditions. Those who complain should be beaten some more, and maimed if they persist.

Keep this up for 200 years.

And when all that is over, Congratulations, asshats. You can have your own history month.

Your reply reaches deep into the psychology of racial animus and bigoted hatred and lays it bare. What a wonderful rejoinder to racists that complain about the victories of Americans with African heritage over the racist elements of power alligned against true liberty for Americans of African heritage. This deserves an entire OP of it's own, if you could flesh-it-out a bit more.
Mamma always did say "racist is as racist does"
