3. I occupied before there was Occupy

We were pretty wild in our protests - West Coast, 1995-1999 (culminating, of course, in Seattle). Those folks - bravest folks I've ever known - invented a lot of the stuff Occupy does now. Those were good times, tear gas notwithstanding.



Thumbs up to all Occupiers. I have two little kids now, and fully understand the whole "Never trust anyone over 30" thing. Hard to keep writing a pro bono lawyer's number on your arm when you've got little mouths to feed. But keep on keepin' on, yo.
