Weiner handles himself expertly in YouTube released Tuesday night

Admitting that he has a hard road ahead and showing a firm resolve, former House Member Anthony Weiner announced his bid for Mayor of New York in a video released on You Tube Tuesday night. Weiner is trying to make a political comeback, two years after he resigned after posting raunchy pictures on Twitter. (May 22)

The Youtube video was released prematurely, removed and then re-released.
There were other internet-related things about his announcement that were screwed up.

Anthony Weiner does not understand the internet.
His incompetence in this area does not bode well for his mayoralty.
And he will become mayor...

I hope he makes a come back. He is one of the good ones as far as I'm concerned. That is why somebody worked so hard to take him down.

5. "Handl[ing] himself"? Wasn't that what got him into trouble in the first place?

Liberal or not, we can't have tainted leaders.

7. I love and respect the late Sen. Robert Byrd and he was a member of the KKK in the '40's.

People are complex things and some great, truly great, individuals have also had far less than perfect lives.

The President, himself, used pot and (far more disturbingly) cocaine.

Anthony Weiner fought hard to represent the interests of middle class America. Certainly harder than most. Incidentally, he also flashed pictures of his cock over his telephone to another adult.

Meh. I'd give this guy another chance.

I'd rather take a flawed character who is moving in the right direction than a spotless, polished plutocrat.

I think the people of New York understand this distinction as well.
