Just finished watching "Top Secret America" on pbs Detroit.

Dick Clarke (the 911 critic) was the narrator:

Interesting factoid he repeatedly points out.

Terrorists were not discovered by the massive invasion of privacy of USA's citizens by its own government -

they were discovered by alert citizens.

Sad to say, I am not surprised.

with regard to privacy issues. It's been going on for some time, but they're completely off the rails now with all this surveillance business. It's really disturbing.

I like to think that Alaska is somehow immune from it all since we're way up here away from the rest of the US, but I know I'm only dreaming. The eyes are in the sky.

there is no real privacy anymore.

you'd have to have some VERY serious firewalls to protect your computer/net stuff from anyone that is interested. It hasn't worked for the FBI, CIA and all those other organizations . . .

And ya can't hide under the trees with all that heat-seeking capability.

But hang on a moment . . .

How is it we can't get a definite grab on what Israel has been/is doing . . . ??
