....the policies they want to put in place are precisely the same policies that got us into this mess in the first place.... OR the same policies with a more radical twist. I think a majority of the country can agree that deregulation is in fact NOT the path forward....
(R)Money and Gingrich want to give the drunk jerk who wrecked our car the keys to our new car. While gutting our insurance policy.

the policies Pres. Obama put in place before the recovery did not cause the recovery. In addition he campaigned in '07-'08 that the policies Pres. W. Bush had in place were good for the economy and we can then infer that he believes that the policies in place before the economic collapse did not cause the collapse.

But he still bases his candidacy on the claim that his economic policies, as President, would cause economic growth.

If he keeps pushing that the President's economic policies are not responsible for what happens with the economy I don't see how his pitch make any sense at all.
