According to the Tax Policy Center, Mitt Romney's tax plan would eliminate the following tax credits: American Opportunity Tax Credit for Higher Education, the expanded refundability of the child credit, and the expansion of the earned income tax credit. Has anyone in the mainstream media asked him if he plans to replace these with other policies that would help low and middle income families?
I am not trying to be silly by asking the previous question. I realize Romney, a few days ago, stated he did not care about the very poor. However, I think that Romney should be asked whether or not he plans to replace the tax breaks for low and middle income families. Since Romney is claiming that he is focused on those in the middle class "who are suffering" it should be pointed out that at least some of his tax policy hurts the middle class. He should then be asked if he has any plans to relieve the additional suffering his tax plan will place on those with low and middle incomes.

If there isn't money to be made by privatizing, they would completely eliminate it.
