...endure what he has. He did nothing wrong.... the US government has done wrong in my opinion.

Manning stole massive amounts of secret material from the US government

to claim he did nothing wrong is completely absurd

He betrayed his oath to this nation

The guy is a trader that should be in jail

with anything particularly unknown or with deep state secret classification. That which was released by him wasn't on the government's most secure routers. It was primarily just embarassing matters for the US government that happened in the last 10 years.

... except distribute information that wasn't his in an attempt to hurt the institution he had failed so miserably at (fighting, hitting women, overall sad sack as a Soldier)

He can't even make the whistleblower claim because of the mass quantity of the data he dumped. He had no oversight and no intent other than to harm the US and the military.

He took advantage of the trust that had been placed in him with his level of clearance and he violated his oath that he took on his first day in the military.

But yeah.. aside from that.. fuckin kudos...
