Is it just me or does mitten seem like he would rather be doing anything but running for POTUS?

He can't even get off a snarky ass soundbite about Pres Obama without looking down at his notes.
NO real emotion or passion in ANY part of his speech...he might as well be reading names out of a phonebook.

Is it because he knows that with the backing of the GOP establishment, it doesn't really matter if the repuke voters around the country like him or not..tough shit.

Might as well put a huge cardboard cut out of him on stage.

There we go...that is the feeling that is coming thru the TV...couldn't put my finger on it but that is it. He is the top 1 percent OF the 1 percent. He doesn't even wanna be the room having to entertain the "lower" 1 percent, never mind the rest of the country (99 percenters)

Mitt is by far the most socially awkward presidential candidate I've seen.

Just seems like he has no ability to connect to the common man.

He's running to add the title to his resume. It's all about the trophy and nothing about correcting the problems facing the bottom 90% of this country.

if you're not a corporation or in the 1% like Romney is. For Mittens, the policies that have screwed the rest of us have made him millions.

had religion as a reason. But they can't even claim that much with Romney. So they'd have to be really, really stupid to vote for him.

Republicans are pretty consistent in their efforts. Apparently, there is no lesson to be learned in one's political choices.

I think there's a real possibility they stay home and "let" Obama win just to stick it to the Repug establishment. I could be wrong.

At the end of the day, they may well decide not to vote...at least on POTUS. In their wallets, I think they secretly want the Democrats to win...in their minds, they can never bring themselves to vote for a Democrat. It's going to be a fascinating election.

I think he wants to be president, he just doesn't have much of a personality. What little personality he does seems, to me, to be very forced. I suppose a "successful businessman" whose "successes" came at the expense of everyday workers learns to behave very emotionlessly, even if he was feeling great joy inside at their suffering.

"Why isn't Romney happy?"

My guess is he has realized how much face time he is having to put in this...probably a million percent more than what he ever had to do in his business bubble. You know he just delegated everything to his minions, all mittens had to do was sit around and enjoy the money rolling in.

So right about now, he is probably realizing he can't just send his minions out to campaign on his behalf and expect to just stroll on into the Oval Office. No "business takeover" is gonna get him in the CEO seat this time.

noticed Romney is bubbling a little more. Could be the GOP has given him a 'minder/political fluffer' to keep him engaged?

He is probably fine in a more relaxed setting, but he just seems uncomfortable during the debates and with meeting people. I dont want to say he thinks he is better than the little people, I dont know if he does or doesnt. But, his body language indicates that this isnt his favorite thing to do. I wonder how he got through all those board meetings.

People see that and it will resonate.

Obama on the other hand absolutely shines when speaking in front of large crowds. That will be a huge benefit for him.
