Despite the momentum Newt cannot win Florida

When a cndidate makes a big move in the last hours of a primary, as Newt appears top have done in Florida, that momentum can translate into a surprise win. And if all balloting was happening tomorrow I'd give Newt a slim chance.

But early voting is big in Florida and Romney has a respectable cushion there.

It is possible that Newt may get the most primary-day votes but still lose the primary.

I am glad Newt is having a hard time in Florida. It speaks to Florida still being one of the sane states.

It will swing in Noot's favor when the counties in the Central time zone close an hour later. I can't say that there's enough Gingrich support there to overcome a ten percent Romney lead when the Eastern time zone polls close, but I'm still holding on to my contention that Romney's not doing as well as the pollsters want us all to think he is.
