Two great people who have become very good friends.

As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton did a stellar job, imo. I have come to have a great deal of respect for her and know she will do great things in or out of government.

groups and seeing the destructive impact which these individuals and groups have wrought upon our society, economy, and standard of living for so many. It would be refreshing to vacation in countries not eaten up with right-wing loonies and dogma.

and I still have the textbook. Great courses and boy, did I try! I did the tests, too, just not the final exams (I had a Masters at that point and didn't need the stress!). I did the homework and really applied myself...

... I wouldn't be surprised if she wants to spend the next 6 months home in her pajamas, baking cookies, taking naps and reading.
I know that would be my choice.

She may have stumbled at times in the public eye, as we all have done, but she kept at it. Only recently have I noticed that she talks with her hands. Some frown on that, but I like the passion it shows. I wish her a happy retirement with Bill and Chelsea and their son-in-law. People in public life give up many simple pleasures that the rest of may take for granted. You don't get to the level they have without giving up a number of other things. Who knows, she and Bill may become proud grandparents someday.

I was under the impression that DC was snow-covered. I kinda wish I was there. I hate snow and it just seems to keep falling here in WI. Super cold temps lately too.
