3. Link

Update at 11:52 a.m.:

Officials continue to withhold the slain prosecutor’s name until his family can be notified, but details have begun to emerge about his recent cases.

Authorities with knowledge of the assistant DA’s caseload say he had been heavily involved in the investigation of members of the Aryan Brotherhood.

5. If the Ayran Brotherhood is responsible for this murder

then they just royally fucked up. Killing a DA is guaranteed to get the full weight of Local, State and Federal authorities after their sorry asses.
I hope that this gang is destroyed regardless of whether or not their responsible.

4. It's been a bloody and gruesome week.

Today's shooting was quite a shock, it was a flat out premeditated murder.

6. Maybe they should be armed, oh wait. Sorry for their family' loss, but doesn't this kind of disprove

the safety in being armed argument?

8. He was also a Peace Officer and was armed.

He was ALWAYS armed, according to WFAA,because of his background. He was also a prosecuter in Dallas County prior to this. There are "rumors" that two Aryan Brotherhood member had been tapped to do this (not confirmed).

7. It would appear this DA was deeply investigating The Aryan Brotherhood.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2271450/Mark-Hasse-shooting-Manhunt-gunmen-county-prosecutor-involved-Aryan-Brotherhood-investigation-shot-dead-courtroom-parking-lot.html

•The Kaufman County, Texas, assistant district attorney, who NBC has identified as Mark Hasse, was ambushed by at least one gunman as he walked from his car to the county courtroom at 8:50 a.m. today

•Victim was assaulted and shot multiple times before dying of his injuries in hospital
•Hasse was heavily involved in the investigation of members of the Aryan Brotherhood and investigators are working to determine if the two cases are linked
