The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary Created (Sandy Hook Victim)
This is the little girl who loved animals and her parents asked that contributions be donated to this center.
Thank you, again, for your donation to The Animal Center in memory of six-year-old Catherine Violet Hubbard, who was killed by a gunman on December 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.
We are moved beyond words by how many of you reached out to us to honor Catherine’s love for animals. This little girl has touched the lives of people from all corners of the globe, creating a wave of compassion that continues to circle expressing kindness, love and respect for all creatures.
Many of you asked how donations in Catherine’s memory would be used. Today, it is our great pleasure to announce plans to build the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary, a place where all creatures, great and small, can know the touch of a kind hand and be safe from harm.
We are just at the planning stages, and we know the sanctuary won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary is a collaborative Labor of Love between the Hubbard family and The Animal Center.
We respect your email privacy and have NOT added you to our mailing list. We simply wanted to let you know our plans for honoring Catherine since so many of you asked. This is our last email to you.
