Why do so many RW types seem to be saying "Obama's evil...but Biden's ok"?

You keep seeing that meme, and I just don't get it.

Even the "deny the Electoral College a quorum" weirdo from Idaho was ok with Romney being president and Biden staying on as vp.

Obama and Biden have never had any meaningful differences on any of the issues. Biden worked as hard as anybody to get the ACA through.

Is this really what it looks like...they can handle having a president they disagree with, so long as he's THEIR skin color?

(on edit: since some people misinterpreted my intent here...let me clarify...this thread is about weirdness on the Right... it is NOT an anti-Biden thread. OK?)

There wasn't much of a fuss over the right to own automatic assault rifles back when there was a ban on them. But now all of a sudden that there is a black president people have a right to own automatic assault rifles so they can defend themselves against a corrupt government?

I still remember Biden caving in over the Clarence Thomas nomination which many of my fellow Dem Females remember as a night of INFAMY where we were laser beamed onto C-Span until 2:00 a.m. hoping Biden would call the "final witness," who could verify Anita Hill's accusations. Sadly...we waited and he called the hearings closed.

I'm not a fan of Biden...but he's working hard to be the "Hope of the Common Man" in America and does appear (imho) to be trying to go for a run with Obama's sanctions.

Why else would Al Rocker disrupt the Parade yelling and screaming for a handshake so that Biden had to break "the walk" and run over and shake Rocker's hand to great cheers?

It was a staged stunt. Millions of "Morning Americans" think Al Rocker as a "common man" and they grew up with him. If he's thrilled to shake VP Biden's hand then Biden is the CHOSEN.

Whatever.....

The said EXACTLY the same shit about Clinton. He was a traitor. He sold military secrets to China. He had Vince Foster murdered. He was a child molester.

They may be a slight bit more hateful to Obama because of his skin color and name, but mark my words, whoever runs in 2016 will suddenly become the most socialist, communist, fascist person in world history, even if we nominated Zombie Reagan.

that Romney could still be elected if enough states boycotted the Electoral College voting to deny the EC a majority.

There was also a horrible thread yesterday(I won't link to it)that showed RW tweets joking and fantasizing about Obama being assassinated at his inaugural.

Many of those people said they would be ok with Biden as president.

I wasn't posting that to ATTACK Biden...it just puzzled me that these people would say Obama was horrible but that Biden was somebody they could live with.

This thread was about white RW weirdness...it's NOT a "trash Biden" thread. Can you please just trust me on that?

I know you have this reflexive assumption that I post on DU with malicious or cynical intent...but I really don't. And I'm not the only person who's seen this "Obama's evil-Biden we could live with" meme from the Right. It's out there. I didn't make it up and my posting about it casts no aspersions on Biden at all.

NIXON and REAGAN both showed..."CRIME PAYS"...hire a high priced Lawyer and you walk and the Country picks up the pieces and MOVES ON!

It's how it works because NIXON was NOT IMPEACHED and MADE TO SERVE TIME.

And that's the ONLY reason why Reagan is regarded as a hero by millions who came to hate Nixon.

Other than that, and some scripted "charm", there was no difference between Nixon and Reagan at all...other than the areas where Reagan was far more evil.

33. The reason Ford had to agree to pardon Nixon in exchange for his resignation
Wed Jan 23, 2013, 09:33 PM
Jan 2013

was that, even in August of '74, there weren't enough votes in the Senate to actually remove Nixon from office. There was a just-large enough "Nixon in the Bunker" coalition of delusional Joe McCarthy-type 'Pugs and Dixiecrat-for-Dick diehards in the Senate to deny the pro-removal forces the two-thirds margin necessary for victory.

I still wonder why Ford didn't just come out and say, "look, the scumbag wouldn't leave unless I pardoned his sorry ass" at the time. If he had, I think Ford would have won a full term in '76(remember, Jimmy Carter blew a thirty-point lead by running one of the worst fall campaigns in party history).

I think he also carries a little hate/corruption of blood for being the product of a mixed marriage.
