It seems their hate knows no boundaries anymore. I can't for Rush, Hannity, et al to say "Grab your guns, folks!"

I have never seen so much concentrated hate directed at a leader than I have with Obama. The SS must be working over time because of all the hate.

8. There was a story awhile back that death threats investigated by the Secret Service had jumped 400%.

Then subsequently the Secret Service came out and mostly denied it. Frankly, I tend to believe the former.

Nothing widespread enough to really call a civil war, and they would prefer it if the Democrats didn't fight back.

13. If I recall from HS history the actual civil war started that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the same toxic divided environment we had then is the same we had now. Oh sure it starts with a few threats here and there... Next thing you know...

10. "Somewhat taboo"? What the heck is the reporter thinking?

The use of combat-related rhetoric and symbols in politics should be completely taboo.

From the link in the OP:

House Chief Clerk Adam Crumbliss hopes the stickers are “nothing more than” a prank. But the incident is being taken seriously in light of the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), who survived a gunshot wound to the head last year. The use of combat-related rhetoric and symbols in politics has become somewhat taboo since then.

But when we reward the GOP, they will repeat behavior. Yes, I know people got mad at me because I suggested Giffords neeed to stay in, but if you think this had nothing to do with the fact that she left office, I have a bridge in Brokkyln to sell you.
