Two Texas women pulled over for littering - Throwing a cigarette out the car. So the pig State Trooper says he smells pot in the car and calls a female trooper to search the women.
So the female trooper checks the women's bra and then does a body cavity search on the side of the road. So the female cop puts on gloves and sticks her finger up the anus of the first woman and then makes her turn around and then sticks her finger up her vagina.
Then w/o changing gloves she does the same routine to the second woman.
That seems very un-hygienic to me and not professional at all. I reckon she is probably a republican!
So the women are filing suit. The Texas Rangers investigated and sent a report to the Dallas DA. I wonder how many other women had to go through this road side personal affront by these two?
The women are being interviewed at this site:

(10,960 posts)and appears to also not stick her finger in the woman's vagina. Same for the second, though that search is more aggressive.
I appears that she is looking for an object in the undergarments of both women. (It sounds like "vial of meth" is discussed in the video.)
I hate searches, but I also hate these casual lies about every damn thing.
Is is possible to describe anything honestly anymore?
The OP could have been about a "humiliating search" but for some reason just has to go into this hyperbolic BS.

I hate cops who think it is their job to punish and get away with it.

(10,960 posts)a cavity search on the video she's lying.
If she is alleging something *not on the video* then that's another matter.
As to whether the search is proper... it might be tremendously improper. I'm fine with an allegation it is improper. I'm kind of a 4th and 5th Amendment die-hard. They would want me on the jury.
But neither search was a cavity search, despite being intrusive and involving a cop putting her hand in ones ass crack and on ones external genitalia. It is a remarkably personal search. Agreed.

If someone has their gloved fingers fishing around and find a tampon inserted would they
arrest her?
So define Cavity, would you?

(487 posts)There is was not probable cause for any of this. The car was not was not searched, nor was any drugs found to suggest a body cavity search is in order.
Hmm, I was just thinking the Supreme Court OKed roadside body cavity searches. Here we just seen one, and you could be next.

(73,631 posts)Even if the cop is going to search you anyway, always tell them that you do not consent to searches.
Repeat after me: "Officer, I do not consent to searches."
Don't physically resist any search, only decline your consent verbally. Don't give the cop a reason to clobber or shoot you.
Repeat after me again: "Officer, I do not consent to searches."
This is your best protection from asshole cops.

I always thought they checked pockets by pulling out them inside out and had the suspects squat to loosen any cavity items from placement. I also thought the pat-down was external, over the clothing as seen in the bra check on the video..

(112,188 posts)A female Texas trooper has been suspended amid an investigation of her videotaped body cavity search of two women along a busy highway.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Tom Vinger said late Wednesday that Trooper Kelley Halleson has been suspended with pay. Results of a Texas Rangers inquiry are expected to go to a Dallas County grand jury in January.
An Irving woman and her adult niece this week sued Halleson and a male trooper, plus DPS director Steve McCraw, over the July traffic stop. Angel and Ashley Dobbs say the search videotaped by a patrol car camera was unlawful and humiliating.
The women say a male trooper says he saw them throw cigarette butts out a window, questioned them about drugs and summoned Halleson. No drugs were found.
