He will be on later on his own show, (remember to watch if you want the best coverage on cable news of today's proceedings), but he was just on Chris Hayes show, and he is just so refreshing.
Made the point that by not allowing the trial to be televised, the system has robbed the American people of seeing just how fair this trial is. It has also made it easier for cult minions like Mike Johnson to smear the proceedings based on nothing, since the average person can't see what's going on.
Looking forward to his show tonight!

(12,610 posts)In a sane, civilized world I would agree with you. But the gaggle of red ties that showed up today was not interested in showing the fairness of the rule of law. Without a doubt they would interrupt the proceedings. They would cheer when the judge upheld one of TFG lawyer's objections, and boo when it went against their Dear Leader. They would treat the whole thing like an intergalactic kegger. It would look like a sea of red hatted crazies. whose sole purpose was to run interference for Trump. Remember, these are the same people who deny the results of the 2020 election, and treat Jan 6th as if it hadn't happened.
The absolute worst result for them would be for the country to see how the judicial system actually works.
