Just another Republic thief

Glad someone besides me wrote to our local newspaper. Blistering YSU state Dean.
Ohio gets all the assholes!

Just another thieving Republican
Bill Johnson. Posted in today's Tribune this guy nailed nailed it!

Greed just pure greed!

Hardly a week goes by when we hear another revelation about Bill Johnson’s finances, both before and after he arrived on campus. Notwithstanding what he made upon retirement from the military industrial complex and the congressional swamp, how about the $872,000-plus left in his campaign fund when he abruptly fled D.C.? According to the Federal Election Commission, that hefty windfall was after the $131,000-plus spent during the first three months of 2024. In other words, upon abdicating “The Hill,” the man returned to Ohio with over a million dollars, apparently to spend on, well, whatever.

Then after exiting his Trojan horse, the Youngstown State University Board of “Trustees” awarded this less-than-qualified “educational leader” a three-year, $1 million contract, plus free housing and numerous perks, including access to a car and who knows what else … all for gratis.

Yet the public has no idea how the scam went down. Should this fraudulent educator survive his contract, eligibility for Ohio’s PERS would top off Johnson’s financial sleight of hand. That, together with previous pensions from the military industrial complex and his 13 less-than-productive years taking up space as a member of our congressional swamp.

I mean it just doesn’t get any better than this. All the while students and their families continue to struggle to pay tuition, room and board and Johnson’s ill-gotten million-dollar contract. Where’s the justice, I ask?
