Upcoming Auction: Private Collection of Secretary Madeleine K. Albright, 7 May

Thought you folks might enjoy seeing this just for fun if nothing else. It's not a big collection of stuff, but there are some interesting things. While some folks here might enjoy viewing/buying the jewelry and clothing items (no Hermes bags, but there is a Hermes scarf), I found the small selection of books of greatest interest - including a couple of Bill Clinton's autographed and an autographed copy of her book "Fascism: A Warning." The Royal Worcester Regency Dinner Service (lot #135) is kinda nice, and the estimate is reasonable, but I don't know where I'd put that many pieces. So if you're into such stuff, or just want to rummage through her stuff, have a look. All lots have photos. BTW, the estimates aren't eBay starting bids, but they're not outrageous.

NOTE: This is not an endorsement of the auction house. I have no financial ties whatsoever to it, to Albright's estate, or anyone concerned as far as I know. For information purposes only. Void where prohibited. Batteries not included.

I’d love to gift my daughters and granddaughters pins from one of the greatest women diplomats of all time. I can almost afford the low bid estimate, but there’s no chance of that being the winning price. Most everything seems undervalued.
