I dont do TikTok except for when theres a link on DU. But I miss the old twitter and never go to the new one.
Which billionaires on which boards will own it? Will it be definitely a public company, or will it be taken private and shrouded in mystery?
Im suspicious of who wants control over it now, and for what purposes.

(8,685 posts)The rest of it is basic video sharing that most any decent programmer could build. I suspect they (ccp) would approve the sale without the algorithm. Perhaps not as valuable but still quite valuable considering the massive user base.

(8,685 posts)Apparently it is the most addictive social media video sharing platform. I dont use it but I do watch Youtube shorts which is similar. I can see how it can be addictive if targeted precisely.
