(35,328 posts)to go loony. There was one at the gym this morning that was chewing the ear off of a guy for voting for Obama, he even followed the guy to the urinals babbling about Obama being a socialist, Muslim and the like. I couldn't believe that guy kept his temper. Then later I stop at a Starbucks and there is this guy I see there all the time, he drives a BMW 3, I asked him if he saw the new Cadillac ATS. That set him off, "I will never buy a GM car because they took my money and bailed them out." I am in Ohio, I said they say there are 850,000 jobs dependent on the auto industry in this state and they wouldn't have had jobs. He don't give a damn they can maqke the cars in Japan or Germany. He went on and on about Obama being a socialist, Muslim, whatever. Something seemed to have freaked them out today.

(22,109 posts)Must be a new meme Faux is programming into their brains: "Obama saved American jobs, which must mean outsourcing is the best cure for our economy!!1!", or the suchlike.
The mind literally boggles at their stupid gullibility.

(22,109 posts)Rmoney's legacy shall forever be that he did buy the Republicon nomination and somehow thought he could buy and lie himself and his family into the White House.
Let's not forget this humiliation of himself and his family was/is GLOBAL! Mwahahahahaaa!

(132 posts)I don't go to bed praying to the Goddess that Obama will be elected again.
I don't get up each morning praying that Obama will be elected.
I do go to bed each night saying "Thank Goddess that Obama was elected."
Each morning is so great!

I tortured my poor boyfriend with probably 20 hours of FOX on the satellite radio. He just couldn't understand my glee listening to their crying... oh yeah and BENGHAZI!!!!!!

(22,109 posts)I'm perfectly capable of simultaneously gloating over the painful public defeat of relentless nasty, lying, greedy, racist bullies and having enormous empathy for those who deserve it.
It's good you didn't "mean to", as the sky is perfectly clear here.
Thanks for sharing that topic of concern.

(22,109 posts)Bringing up a 15 month old girl in poverty, I know all about feeling glum and despondent. Fortunately, we do have a light at the end of the tunnel - even if it is very faint and a long way away - which makes it easier to deal with.
Being on here among like minded people and sometimes having a bit of fun makes it easier, too.

(90,662 posts)Have you noticed that our President even knows there's more to Asia than China? And that he can multi-task by sending his Sec of State out to Israel at the same time he's in Burma, to see if she can help bring peace?
I could go on, and on. Think of the alternatives (shudder).
In Obama/Biden, we have the best of the best. I'll always have their backs.

(239 posts)Gloating just is not my style. I prefer the condescending pity route myself lol. As in: awww, so sorry for your loss, I know you tried really, really hard to win
and just think, President Obama will probably select at least two Supreme Court Justices, so the effect of this election will be felt for decades.
Follow up with a pity hug or pat on the back.
