So Outside Of Fox News That Is Saying This Petreaus Affair Is An Obama Cover Up Of Benghazi.....

it looks like the rest of the MSM is just calling this a "sex scandal" and there's no there there.

Why does it look like MSM is trying to end all the speculation and conspiracy theories around this Petreaus affair and stop it dead in its tracks. When if you look at all the players involved in this mess til now - most are Repugs or Repug mouthpieces. Cantor, Rove, Petreaus himself, Drudge - with his talk of a scandal before the election, Woodward, Gergen.....

Broadwell seems very shady to me as well and her father is claiming there is more to this story.

Something just don't seem right about this thing. But is sure looks like MSM wants to squelch this whole thing and stop it dead in its tracks.

Is my tinfoil hat on too tight?

her sister is an attorney ..her clients are whistleblowers..I read that but do not remember
where..it was a link provided by someone on my twitter acct..the article said
Jill Kelly's sister advised her to go forward with this complaint..

It looks like the MSM just wants to boil it down to a "sex scandal" and put the story to rest - put it behind us. This is what I mean by "squelching" this story.

I would just like to see the MSM look at this from a broader view and perhaps 'connect the dots'. I just want journalists to be journalists and follow up on the various aspects of this story.

Granted some of what we are hearing and reading may just be wishful thinking on the part of some of us here on DU. On the other hand - there seems to be an aura of a manufactured scandal to take out the President. This aura is reminiscent of Repug dirty tricks of the past. And call me a conspiracy theorist if you will - when I see a picture of Rove with the mistress - I guess I get a little suspicious. When an FBI informant comes to Eric Cantor and spills the beans and Cantor doesn't blow open this story - I get a little suspicious.
