Harry Litman offers a little 'waiting for Garland' therapy

Deep State Radio @deepstateradio 4h
@harrylitman, @MuellerSheWrote, and @djrothkopf discuss their views about the speed at which Merrick Garland is investigating Donald Trump during our latest episode. Listen to their conversation here: https://thedsrnetwork.com/time-for-a-lit

We are drawing ever closer to 2024 but there are still no indictments of Donald Trump despite seeing crimes right in front of our eyes. Are the wheels of justice just grinding slowly or have the wheels come off of Garland’s Department of Justice? David discusses with Dr. Allison Gill of the Jack podcast and Harry Litman of the Talking Feds podcast. Why are there no indictments yet? What is going on with the multiple special counsels that he is overseeing? When should we expect to see move movement on these issues? Find out in this therapeutic episode.

...this is a great conversation, complete with as much dissent against Garland as DU can dish, and a good defense of the AG (with some tough love) from Harry Litman). Worth a listen.

Nothing short of an indictment (or maybe prozac in the drinking water) is going to stop the anxiety hlthe2b Feb 2023 #1

...his two guests are like most folks reasonably confident the process will work.

Allison makes the point that the previous Trump probe had 10 mos. of investigation and then the appointment of Mueller, and that puts us at about April, the same time Manafort and Gates were indicted (att. Weissmann) that she's thinks is a reasonable deadline for some charges to drop.

Harry makes a personal defense, beginning with his own reservations, including what he says was a late start or a slow start, which he admits at the end no one can actually know about and could be wrong.

Plenty of pushback on both with the points folks raise here in opposition to Garland, as well.
